Updating My Brain...Is This Possible?!?

Yes please! Can you hook up a magical vacuum to my ear and suck out all of the brain fog, anxiety, confusion, cluttered thoughts, depression, forgetfulness, and negative emotions?!? Sign me up! If it was only that easy, right? But, what if I told you that there is a solution to upgrading your brain and how it operates? We humans are complex and emotional beings, and we have a lot of apps running behind the scenes that are draining our energy. Some of those apps need an “update” to operate at a higher frequency, and that is exactly what the Positive Intelligence Mental Fitness Program does.


When we are not taking care of ourselves, we find that we are exhausted, short-tempered, overwhelmed, and our brain gets hijacked by our Saboteurs without us even knowing it. To keep it simple, you have two very different regions of the brain that help you thrive and survive. The survival region is where your inner Saboteurs live, generating stress and negative emotions when you handle life’s challenges. In your thrive region, you will find your inner Sage, which generates positive emotions such as curiosity, empathy, and creativity while handling life’s challenges.


All operating systems get bogged down and sluggish when they are not updated. How do we get stuck when our mental apps need an update? Our brain gets hijacked by the Saboteurs when we are living in our survival mode and the stress response is rarely shut off. This important survival circuitry of the limbic system along with our amygdala, was designed to alert us to danger, real or perceived, to keep us alive. Although our brain is wonderfully intricate, it cannot tell the difference between stress from running from a bear or being stuck in traffic.


When our "survival app" continuously runs in the background of our brain, whether it is at a high or low level, this can result in fatigue, anxiety, depression, weight gain, chaos at home, failed relationships, people pleasing, victim mentality, avoidance, imposter syndrome, arguments, fogginess/confusion, procrastination, health issues, and more! Our battery gets drained. Your mind should be your best friend, but oftentimes it can also be your worst enemy. Let's change that!
